Friends of the Hilton Head Library is a non-profit organization that provides support to the Hilton Head Library by providing materials, programs, and other contributions.

Book Break 2014 begins in late January with reviews of three national bestsellers and three Lowcountry authors. The reviews will be presented by a talented and diverse group of speakers. Each review is on Wednesday from 12 to 1 pm in the Community Room of the Library, preceded by coffee and cookies at 11:30 am.
The Film Seminar Series has been directed by Bill Garton for over ten years. The seminars are on Thursday, starting in mid-January and running for eight weeks. Each begins at 1:30 with a half-hour travel log and refreshments. The movie begins at 2 p.m. and is followed by a discussion.
Super Saturdays are appropriate for all children ages 3 to 8. We look for educational entertainment that allows children to participate and enjoy by doing.
In 2014, our Super Saturdays are on the 2nd Saturday of the month from January through March. They begin at 11 a.m. and run about an hour. At the end of the program, prizes are raffled off and the families enjoy some refreshments.
